| State Of Animal Welfare
According to GOYAR
| |
- It's not about being a Vegetarian or Vegan
- It's not about "animal rights" or changing our Constitution!
- It's not about new legislation or fixing the old!
- It's about RESPECT!
- It's about Respect for the animals, the land and the manner in which our children will live for the next one hundred years!
There are many great ways to show and support a commitment to the humane treatment of animals, including advocacy, donations or simply a commitment through one's personal lifestyle.
What is GOYAR about?
- GOYAR is about raising the public consciousness.
- GOYAR is about awareness.
- GOYAR is about education.
- GOYAR is about getting off your ass and doing something about the horrific conditions in which our modern society has caused the world's wild, domestic and agricultural farm animals to live.
We want people to see this up close and personal.
We want people to learn.
We want people to touch it and feel it.
We want people to participate.
We want people to come out and enjoy all the beauty and wonder that makes-up our World's backcountry.
We want people to STOP turning the other cheek.
Globally, the majority of society has lost touch with animals and their habitat. We are destroying animals at an alarming rate. What's worse than the destruction, though, is the manner in which the destruction occurs.
Whether we're vegans or we enjoy a juicy steak, whether we live in grass huts or a modern-mega real estate development, whether we love pets or not, there's absolutely no reason why we cannot be aware of the State of Animal Welfare and want to do something about it! |
Mick and I are passionate about animals, in the wild, at home and on the farm. We want to see a change in the way these animals are treated. We want as much love and attention given to the cow that is raised for food as is given to Fido and Fifi at home. Change will only occur if we understand the issues plaguing these animals, if we educate ourselves about these issues, if we possess | | the desire to maintain and sustain what's left of our animal kingdom and its habitat, and if we SPREAD THE WORD!
Please take just a few moments to check out some alarming facts, learn about our partners, DONATE A FEW DOLLARS, and check out some otherreading materials and links to additional information. | |
